Há quase dois anos sem entrar em campo, Adriano está prestes a voltar aos gramados. Nesta quinta-feira (10), o atacante foi apresentado em seu novo clube, o Miami United, dos Estados Unidos.
“Estou muito feliz de poder jogar pelo Miami United. Espero dar muita felicidade ao clube e realmente mostrar meu potencial. Espero ser campeão com a camisa do Miami”, afirmou durante a apresentação.
Depois da declaração de Adriano, um grupo de brasileiros que acompanhava o evento começou a grita “o Imperador voltou”, em referência ao apelido dado ao atacante no tempo em que ele atuava pela Inter de Milão.
Adriano comprou 40% do clube norte-americano em janeiro deste ano. O Miami United pertence à liga NPSL, considerada a quarta maior dos Estados Unidos – a emergente MLS é o principal torneio do país.
O jogador terá participação nas receitas do clube e um salário acordado em aproximadamente R$ 40 mil, pela função de atleta. Os 60% restantes do time pertencem ao italiano Roberto Sacca, responsável por administra-lo.
Adriano não entra em campo desde abril de 2014, quando atuou pelo Atlético-PR.
