Contribuintes do Instituto Nacional do Seguridade Social (INSS), aposentados de qualquer idade e pessoas com 70 anos ou mais que contribuíram para o PIS ou Pasep até 4 de outubro de 1988 podem ter valores disponíveis para saque do Fundo PIS-PASEP. Quem ainda não fez o resgate das cotas, por ocasião da aposentadoria, por exemplo, deve buscar mais informações.

Para conhecer o saldo, se houver, ou o número de inscrição em um dos programas, os participantes devem procurar o Banco do Brasil, que é o agente administrador do Pasep, ou a Caixa Econômica Federal, instituição administradora do PIS. Podem sacar as cotas ainda existentes, pessoas que contribuíram para os programas que possuírem saldo em suas contas individuais e estejam enquadrados em um dos seguintes motivos, de acordo com a legislação: aposentadoria, idade igual ou superior a 70 anos, invalidez (do participante ou dependente), transferência para reserva remunerada ou reforma (no caso de militar), idoso e/ou portador de deficiência, ex-trabalhador, inscrito no Benefício da Prestação Continuada (BPC/LOAS), participante (ou dependente) acometido por neoplasia maligna, vírus HIV ou doenças listadas na Portaria Interministerial MPAS/MS, morte, situação em que o saldo da conta será pago aos dependentes ou sucessores do titular.

Os documentos necessários para efetuar o saque podem ser consultados no site da Caixa, na seção Quotas do PIS, ou do Banco do Brasil, no item Quando e Como Sacar o Saldo.

Trabalhadores que passaram a contribuir para o PIS ou PASEP a partir do dia 5 de outubro de 1988 não possuem valores de cotas para resgate, pois desde aquela data, o Fundo PIS-Pasep não conta com a arrecadação para contas individuais.

O Fundo

O Fundo PIS-Pasep resultou da unificação dos fundos constituídos com recursos do Programa de Integração Social (PIS) e do Programa de Formação do Patrimônio do Servidor Público (Pasep). Além disso, o art. 239 da Constituição Federal alterou a destinação dos recursos provenientes das contribuições para o PIS e para o Pasep, que passaram a ser alocados ao Fundo de Amparo ao Trabalhador (FAT), para custeio do Programa do Seguro-Desemprego, do Abono Salarial e ao financiamento de Programas de Desenvolvimento Econômico pelo Banco Nacional de Desenvolvimento Econômico e Social (BNDES). Quem possui recursos junto ao Fundo PIS-PASEP?

São participantes do Fundo PIS-PASEP somente os trabalhadores de organizações públicas e privadas que tenham contribuído para o PASEP ou para o PIS até a data de 04 de outubro de 1988, e que não tenham efetuado o resgate total de seus saldos junto ao Fundo PIS-PASEP. Os trabalhadores que começaram a contribuir após essa data não possuem saldos para resgate junto ao Fundo.

Como fico sabendo se tenho saldo junto ao Fundo PIS- PASEP?

Só possuem saldos em contas individuais do Fundo PIS-PASEP aqueles trabalhadores que tenham contribuído para o PIS ou para o PASEP até 04 de outubro de 1988 e não tenham efetuado o resgate total de seus saldos. Os trabalhadores da iniciativa privada nessas condições devem procurar a Caixa Econômica Federal (agente operador do PIS) para informações sobre saldos, enquanto que os servidores e empregados públicos devem recorrer ao Banco do Brasil (agente operador do PASEP) para obter essa informação.

Caso eu tenha recursos junto ao Fundo PIS-PASEP, como posso sacar esse dinheiro?

Pela legislação vigente, o saque total de cotas só é permitido nos casos de: aposentadoria; idade igual ou superior a setenta anos;  invalidez (do participante ou dependente); transferência para reserva remunerada ou reforma (no caso de militar); idoso e/ou portador de deficiência alcançado pelo Benefício da Prestação Continuada; participante ou dependente acometido por neoplasia maligna, vírus HIV ou doenças da Portaria Interministerial MPAS/MS nº 2998/2001; ou morte, situação em que o saldo da conta será pago aos dependentes ou sucessores do titular

Anualmente, o Fundo PIS-PASEP promove a atualização monetária dos saldos das contas individuais, paga juros aos cotistas e distribui rendimentos e resultados das aplicações dos recursos administrados. A quantia paga sob forma de juros e distribuição de resultados pode ser sacada anualmente pelo cotista do PIS-PASEP junto à Caixa Econômica Federal (agente operador do PIS) ou ao Banco do Brasil (agente operador do PASEP).

Se eu não sacar a minha parte da distribuição de juros e rendimentos eu perco o dinheiro?

Não. Caso o cotista não efetue o saque dos juros e resultados anuais distribuídos pelo Fundo PIS-PASEP, os recursos são creditados em sua conta individual junto ao Fundo. Ficam indisponíveis para saques, mas são acumulados na conta individual, rendendo atualização e juros, até o momento em que for realizado o resgate total das cotas. No ano seguinte, novos juros e resultados do exercício financeiro são distribuídos aos cotistas, que poderão sacá-los sem prejuízo algum aos valores distribuídos anteriormente.

Esqueci meu número do PIS ou do PASEP, o que devo fazer?

Essa informação pode ser obtida por meio do nome e CPF do trabalhador junto à Caixa Econômica Federal (agente operador do PIS) ou ao Banco do Brasil (agente operador do PASEP).

O número do PIS ou PASEP muda quando troco de empregos entre a iniciativa privada e o serviço público?

Não. Ao mudar de empregador, da iniciativa privada para o serviço público, o número de registro no PIS-PASEP é mantido. Apenas a administração da conta individual migra da Caixa Econômica (operador do PIS) para o Banco do Brasil (operador do PASEP). A situação é semelhante no caso de mudança do serviço público para a iniciativa privada: o número de registro se mantém, mas a conta individual passa do Banco do Brasil para a Caixa Econômica. Nesse último caso, é importante informar ao empregador da iniciativa privada o seu número PIS-PASEP para evitar que ocorra novo registro sob outro número.

Como é remunerado o saldo da minha conta individual no Fundo PIS-PASEP?

Conforme a legislação em vigor, as contas individuais são atualizadas pela Taxa de Juros de Longo Prazo – TJLP, creditadas de juros anuais de 3% sobre o saldo atualizado, e creditadas de uma parcela do resultado líquido adicional das operações realizadas com recursos do Fundo. Esse resultado das operações é distribuído anualmente aos cotistas do PIS-PASEP na proporção de seus saldos individuais junto ao Fundo.
