PIB cai 0,24% no segundo trimestre, diz pesquisa da FGV

O Produto Interno Bruto (PIB, a soma de todos os bens e serviços produzidos no país), recuou 0,24% no segundo trimestre deste ano na comparação com o primeiro trimestre. A informação é do Monitor do PIB, divulgado nesta segunda (21), no Rio de Janeiro, pela Fundação Getulio Vargas (FGV).

Segundo a pesquisa, no primeiro trimestre o PIB tinha registrado alta de 0,99%. Na comparação com o segundo trimestre de 2016, o recuo foi ainda maior: 0,30%. O principal destaque negativo neste tipo de comparação foi a queda de 1,8% da indústria, influenciada pela redução de 7,4% do setor da construção.

Sob a ótica da demanda, os investimentos tiveram um recuo de 5,1%. Por outro lado, o consumo das famílias avançou 0,6%, depois de nove trimestres consecutivos de queda. O resultado positivo foi influenciado pelos consumos de bens duráveis (3,8%), semiduráveis (7,3%) e não duráveis (0,5%).

Analisando-se apenas o mês de junho, o PIB cresceu 2,65% na comparação com maio, depois de uma queda de 5,79% na passagem de abril para maio.
