Brasil: 3.978 casos de H1N1 em 2016

Dados do Ministério da Saúde mostram que foram registrados 3.978 casos de influenza A (H1N1) entre janeiro e 30 de maio deste ano. Ao todo, 764 pessoas morreram em decorrência desse tipo de gripe. No mesmo período do ano passado, houve 19 registros da doença em todo o país, com duas mortes.

Com  2.013 casos, a Região Sudeste concentra o maior número de registros de influenza A H1N1, dos quais 1.714 no estado de São Paulo.

Os estados com maior número de pessoas infectadas foram o Rio Grande do Sul, que registrou 495 casos; o Paraná, 466; Goiás, 249; Mato Grosso do Sul, 143; o Pará, 141; o Rio de Janeiro, 119; Santa Catarina, 118; o Espírito Santo, 105; e o Distrito Federal, 101.

São Paulo continua com o maior número de mortes, 352, seguido por Rio Grande do Sul (82); Paraná (54); Goiás (44); Rio de Janeiro (36).

Vacinação

A campanha de vacinação contra a gripe imunizou neste ano 47.6 milhões de pessoas que fazem parte dos grupos de maior risco de complicação pela doença, o que corresponde a 95,5% da meta do Ministério da Saúde.

O público-alvo é formado por crianças de 6 meses até 5 anos incompletos, pessoas com 60 anos ou mais, trabalhadores da área de saúde, povos indígenas, gestantes, mulheres que tiveram filhos há no máximo 45 dias, população privada de liberdade, funcionários do sistema prisional e pessoas portadoras de doenças crônicas não transmissíveis. As crianças que tomaram a vacina pela primeira vez neste ano devem retornar aos postos de saúde para aplicação da segunda dose até o dia 20 de junho.

Oficialmente, a campanha nacional terminou no dia 20 de maio, porém, o Ministério da Saúde recomendou a continuidade da vacinação aos estados que não atingiram a meta. Ficou a cargo dos estados e municípios, no entanto, avaliar se já tinham sido esgotadas todas as possibilidades de vacinação dos grupos-alvo.
