Postos interditados por vender combustível adulterado

Durante a ação denominada Operação Ouro Limpo, policiais civis da Superintendência de Polícia Especializada (SPE), agentes da Agência Nacional do Petróleo (ANP) e fiscais do Instituto Estadual de Defesa do Consumidor (Procon-ES) interditaram, nesta quinta (27), cinco postos de gasolina – quatro localizados em Cariacica e um na Serra – por comercializar combustível impróprios para serem vendidos.

Mais de 20 postos de gasolina da Grande Vitória foram fiscalizados no último dia 11. Durante a ação as amostras foram coletadas e encaminhadas para laboratórios credenciados pela ANP, no Rio de Janeiro, onde foram submetidas a análises complementares.

De acordo com o superintendente de Polícia Especializada, delegado José Darcy Arruda, a porcentagem permitida pela ANP é de até 0,7% de metanol no álcool. “Após alguns testes foi verificado que o combustível dos postos que foram interditados atingiu de 13 a 30%. As bombas foram lacradas e o material apreendido”, contou, acrescentando que os proprietários dos estabelecimentos irão responder pelo crime contra a ordem econômica. “Eles poderão pegar a pena de um a cinco anos de reclusão e administrativamente pela ANP, podendo ter a licença cassada e pelo  Procon Estadual. Responderão, ainda, por lesar o consumidor”.

José Darcy Arruda afirmou que foi instaurado inquérito policial para a apuração dos fatos. “É importante ressaltar que essa operação e as fiscalizações continuam, pois fazer adulteração de combustível é crime contra a ordem econômica”, concluiu.
