O número de consumidores inadimplentes caiu, segundo pesquisa da Confederação Nacional de Dirigentes Lojistas (CNDL) e do Serviço de Proteção ao Crédito (SPC Brasil). A estimativa é de 59 milhões de pessoas físicas negativadas no país, ao final de abril. De acordo com dados divulgados hoje (10), o número representa 39,19% da população com idade entre 18 e 95 anos.
Na variação anual, o indicador teve queda de 1,6%, comparado ao resultado de abril de 2016. Essa foi a segunda vez, desde o início da série histórica em 2010, que há uma queda anual. Na passagem de março para abril, a inadimplência no país registrou queda de 0,35%. Após crescer a taxas próximas a 5% entre o final de 2015 e início de 2016, o indicador teve sucessivos recuos mensais ao longo do ano passado.
“Essa desaceleração do crescimento da inadimplência ocorre desde o segundo trimestre de 2016 e reflete tanto a recessão econômica, que reduziu a capacidade de pagamento das famílias, quanto a redução da tomada de crédito por parte dos consumidores e sua propensão a consumir”, explica o presidente da CNDL, Honório Pinheiro, em nota: “O consumidor tem tido maior cautela com o consumo, além de maior dificuldade para conseguir crédito. Assim, ele se endivida menos e, com isso, torna-se mais difícil ficar inadimplente”.
A estimativa por faixa etária indica que a maioria dos negativados tem entre 30 e 39 anos. Em abril, metade da população (49,83%) com essa idade estava com o nome incluído em listas de proteção ao crédito – de um total de 17 milhões de pessoas. Também é significativo o percentual de endividados entre 40 e 49 anos (47,06%), bem como entre os consumidores de 25 a 39 anos (46,34%).
Região Sudeste
De acordo com os dados, a Região Sudeste é a que concentra, em termos absolutos, o maior número de negativados, somando 24,9 milhões de consumidores, o que representa 38,17% da população adulta da região.
Em seguida aparecem o Nordeste, com 15,6 milhões de negativados (39,19% da população); o Sul, com 8,29 milhões (37,16%); o Norte, 5,35 milhões (45,77% – o maior percentual entre todas as regiões); e o Centro-Oeste, com um total de 4,84 milhões de inadimplentes (42,18% da população).
Bancos
O levantamento da Confederação Nacional de Dirigentes Lojistas e do Serviço de Proteção ao Crédito mostra também que os bancos concentram a maior parte das dívidas no país (48,36% do total). Em seguida, vem o comércio (20,26%) e o setor de comunicação (13,51%).
Os dados por setores revelam que o segmento de água e luz foi o único a apresentar crescimento anual do número de pendências em abril, com alta de 3,19%. Já o setor de comunicação teve a maior queda, de -17,35%. Em seguida aparecem os bancos (-5,02%) e o comércio (-7,10%).
