MEC vai apoiar formação de professores para educação de surdos, diz ministro

O ministro da Educação, Mendonça Filho, disse nesta segunda (06) que o Ministério da Educação (MEC) busca a ampliar acessibilidade e políticas de afirmação de surdos. Segundo ele, está incluída na proposta da Base Nacional Comum Curricular, a formação adequada de professores, “para que a gente possa ter uma política pública cada vez mais inclusiva, respeitando a condição específica dos surdos ou daqueles que têm deficiência auditiva no nosso país”.

Segundo o ministro, o Instituto Nacional de Educação de Surdos (Ines), no Rio de Janeiro, é quem subsidia as políticas públicas para surdos no âmbito do MEC e apoia a sua implementação pelas esferas subnacionais de governo. “Na ponta, quem tem a responsabilidade direta por essas políticas públicas são os estados e municípios. Cabe ao Ministério da Educação induzir e apoiar politicas nacionais de inclusão geral e específicas”.

Com mais de 160 anos de existência, o Ines produz material pedagógico, fonoaudiológico e de vídeos em língua de sinais, distribuídos para os sistemas de ensino. Além de atender em torno de 600 alunos, da educação infantil ao ensino médio, o instituto também forma profissionais surdos e ouvintes no Curso Bilíngue de Pedagogia.

Para Mendonça Filho, a língua brasileira de sinais (Libras) precisa ser cada vez mais incorporada na política educacional brasileira. Por isso, desde 2013, em parceria com a Associação de Comunicação Educativa Roquette Pinto (Acerp), o Ines disponibiliza conteúdo audiovisual acessível ao público surdo e aulas de Libras, por meio da TV INES .

Abstenções

Segundo o ministro da Educação, a abstenção de 30,2% no primeiro dia de provas do Enem seguiu os patamares de anos anteriores. Entretanto, para ele, é preciso reduzir esse número. “Preparamos o exame para 6,7 milhões de inscritos e não tivemos todos eles comparecendo à prova. Isso significa um desperdício. Se alguém tem uma motivação de força maior ou de doença é compreensível, mas outros que se inscrevem e não comparecem por razão mais banal, não é razoável. Estamos aplicando cerca de R$ 90 por prova e isso é dinheiro tirado do contribuinte”.

Neste domingo (05) foi o primeiro dia do Enem, com provas de redação, linguagens (língua portuguesa e língua estrangeira) e ciências humanas (geografia, história, filosofia, sociologia e conhecimentos gerais). O segundo dia de provas será no próximo domingo (12), com questões de matemática e ciências da natureza.
