O ministro da Justiça e Segurança Pública, José Levi Mello do Amaral Júnior, retornou ao Estado, nesta segunda-feira (13), para acompanhar os trabalhos das forças de segurança e o desenrolar da situação. No início da tarde, o ministro e sua comitiva estiveram no Palácio Anchieta, sede do Poder Executivo Estadual, em Vitória, onde discutiram com o governador Paulo Hartung e o vice-governador César Colnago a atuação das forças de segurança.
O trabalho em conjunto das Forças Armadas com a Força Nacional já permitiu que, no final da semana, os cidadãos de Vitória tivessem uma maior sensação de segurança. Reforçam o policiamento do Estado, aproximadamente, 3500 homens distribuídos entre Força Nacional de Segurança (FNS) e Exército Brasileiro. Além do policiamento ostensivo, o efetivo militar atua nos Terminais Rodoviários, ônibus e garagem de empresas responsáveis pelo transporte público.
