Crise na Segurança: governo diz que paralisação da PM é chantagem e tem motivação político eleitoral

O governador licenciado, Paulo Hartung, o governador em exercício, Cesar Colnago, e o secretário de segurança, André Garcia, falaram hoje com a imprensa sobre a grave crise de segurança que afeta a população do Espírito Santo. O governador Paulo Hartung disse que o movimento é uma chantagem contra a população capixaba e acusou os policiais, familiares e amigos que sustentam a paralisação de “sequestrarem a liberdade do capixaba e cobrar resgate”.  O governador afirmou que atender às reivindicações representaria um aumento de R$ 500 milhões no gastos do governo e que não há como assumir este gasto. Paulo Hartung, que se recupera de uma cirurgia no intestino, disse que apoia o governador em exercício e o secretário de segurança nas medidas tomadas para enfrentar a crise. Ele pediu aos grevistas para respeitarem o cidadão capixaba, que paga as contas, à instituição policial militar e o estado do Espírito Santo.

O governador em exercício, Cesar Colnago,  explicou as medidas tomadas para acabar com o movimento e garantir a segurança da população, como a solicitação de apoio de tropas federais para o policiamento das cidades. Colnago disse que 1.200 homens já estão no ES para fazer esse patrulhamento.  Segundo o governador em exercício não há intransigência por parte do governo para a negociação, mas que existe um movimento orquestrado para a manutenção da crise. “Com certeza são interesses políticos menores. É desumano, é inadmissível que outros interesses políticos estejam acima da vida das pessoas.”
