Atlas das Rochas Ornamentais será apresentado na Vitória Stone Fair 2017

Com o objetivo de divulgar o potencial e atrair compradores nacionais e internacionais das rochas ornamentais brasileiras, a Companhia de Pesquisas Minerais do Ministério de Minas e Energia (CPRM) acaba de concluir o Atlas das Rochas Ornamentais do Espírito Santo, que será lançado nesta quinta (08) na Vitória Stone Fair l Marmomac Latin America 2017.

Segundo Vanildo Mendes, pesquisador em Geociências e chefe da Divisão de Rochas e Minerais Industriais do órgão, o documento pode auxiliar na atração de novos negócios para o setor, considerado um dos mais importantes da economia capixaba, com uma participação de mais de 10% do PIB.

Na ocasião, serão ainda apresentados os Mapas Geológicos e de Recursos Minerais do Espírito Santo. “Os mapas vão servir de suporte para a formulação de políticas públicas e privadas, visando ao desenvolvimento dos trabalhos de pesquisa e exploração mineral do Estado. O documento revela, por exemplo, a ambiência geológica tectônica do território capixaba e, consequentemente, os recursos minerais disponíveis”, ressalta Mendes.

Os trabalhos foram concluídos recentemente pelo CPRM e estarão disponíveis para distribuição aos visitantes da feira no estande do Sindicato da Indústria de Rochas Ornamentais, Cal e Calcários do Espírito Santo (Sindirochas-ES).
