Terremoto na Itália: 120 mortos e 368 feridos até agora

O primeiro-ministro da Itália, Matteo Renzi, afirmou que o terremoto de 6,2 gaus que atingiu a zona central do país nesta madrugada “deixou ao menos 120 mortos”. A Defesa Civil italiana informou que, do total de mortes, 86 foram registradas em Accumoli e Amatrice e as outras 34 em Arquata. As informações são da Agência Ansa.

“Os feridos foram levados para fora de Amatrice e Accumoli em helicópteros e ambulâncias. Foram 368 somente nesta manhã”, informou Renzi. “Há alguns problemas para o reconhecimento dos corpos, mas estamos trabalhando nisso”.

Renzi fez a declaração em Rieti, uma das províncias mais afetadas pelo abalo sísmico, onde o premier também destacou que será preciso um “longo período de gestão” para lidar com a emergência provocada pelo terremoto. “A emergência demandará um longo período de gestão. Deveremos estar todos à altura deste desafio”, disse.
