A venda de palmito para a torta capixaba começa na sexta (18) na área próxima ao Tancredão e ao Sambão do Povo, no bairro Mário Cypreste. Cerca de 20 vendedores de palmito devem se instalar na área – a única autorizada pela prefeitura de Vitória para comercialização do produto. Haverá espaço para que caminhões estacionem em vagas específicas. Os expositores foram cadastrados pela Secretaria Municipal de Turismo, Trabalho e Renda (Semttre).

A área, que já é tradicional entre os capixabas que buscam o produto na época do feriado santo, contará com tendas, caixas estacionárias para descarte de resíduos gerados pela atividade dos comerciantes e banheiros químicos. A venda acontece entre 8 e 18 horas.

Fiscalização e limpeza

Fiscais da Secretaria de Desenvolvimento da Cidade (Sedec) vão circular pela cidade para evitar vendas de palmito em outros pontos. A Secretaria Municipal de Serviços (Semse) montou um esquema especial para limpeza do local. Segundo o secretário municipal de Turismo, Trabalho e Renda, Leonardo Krohling, esse é mais um trabalho de parceria entre as secretarias para que as pessoas tenham segurança e tranquilidade na escolha e na compra do produto. O palmito será vendido em grandes peças.

“A movimentação será grande, afinal é a época em que todos desejam saborear a torta capixaba, que tem como ingrediente o palmito. O lugar é espaçoso, de fácil acesso e próximo ao bairro da Vila Rubim e Centro Histórico”, destacou Krohling.
