País registra 59,8 mil novas vagas formais de trabalho em abril

O país criou 59.856 mil vagas de emprego formal durante o mês de abril, conforme apontam os dados do Cadastro Geral de Empregados e Desempregados (Caged) divulgados hoje (16) pelo Ministério do Trabalho. É o primeiro resultado positivo para um mês de abril desde 2014.

No último mês, foram contabilizadas 1.141.850 admissões e 1.081.994 desligamentos. Já em março deste ano, foram registradas 1.261.332 admissões e 1.324.956 desligamentos, ou seja, 63.624 vagas foram perdidas.

Em abril do ano passado, o mercado de trabalho formal tinha registrado a perda de 62.844 postos de trabalho.

“Estamos tendo a alegria de celebrar números positivos. Esperamos que estes números positivos se estabeleçam”, comemorou o ministro do Trabalho, Ronaldo Nogueira.

O setor de serviços foi o que registrou melhor resultado em abril deste ano, com um saldo de 24.712 contratações, seguido pela agropecuária (14.648); indústria de transformação (13.689) e comércio (5.327).

Embora tenha apresentado saldo negativo (-1.760 postos de trabalho), a construção civil teve um desempenho melhor que o de abril do ano passado (-16.036 vagas).
