dinheiroA taxa de juros do cheque especial continuou a subir em setembro. Segundo dados do Banco Central (BC), divulgados hoje (26), a taxa do cheque especial subiu 3,8 pontos percentuais, de agosto para setembro, quando chegou a 324,9% ao ano, estabelecendo novo recorde na série histórica do BC, iniciada em julho de 1994.

Neste ano, a taxa do cheque especial já subiu 37,9 pontos percentuais em relação a dezembro de 2015, quando estava em 287% ao ano.

Outra taxa de juros que voltou a registrar recorde foi a do rotativo do cartão de crédito. O rotativo é o crédito tomado pelo consumidor quando paga menos que o valor integral da fatura do cartão.

Em setembro, na comparação com agosto, houve alta de 5,3 pontos percentuais, com a taxa em 480,3% ao ano, a maior da série iniciada em março de 2011. Neste ano, essa taxa já subiu 48,9 pontos percentuais.

A taxa média das compras parceladas com juros, do parcelamento da fatura do cartão de crédito e dos saques parcelados, subiu 2,5 pontos percentuais e ficou em 154,7% ao ano.

Essas duas taxas – do cheque especial e do cartão de crédito – são as mais caras na pesquisa do Banco Central e estão bem distantes dos juros médios do crédito para pessoa física (73,3% ao ano, em setembro). A alta em relação a agosto foi de 1,5 ponto percentual.

A taxa do crédito pessoal subiu 2,8 pontos percentuais para 135,1% ao ano. A taxa do crédito consignado (com desconto em folha de pagamento) ficou estável em 29,3% ao ano, em relação a agosto.

Inadimplência estável

Os dados do BC também mostram que a inadimplência do crédito, considerados atrasos acima de 90 dias, para pessoas físicas, ficou estável em 6,2%, pelo quarto mês seguido.

A taxa de inadimplência das empresas também ficou inalterada em 5,5%. A taxa média de juros cobrada das pessoas jurídicas ficou em 29,8% ao ano, queda de 0,8 ponto percentual em relação a agosto.

Esses dados são do crédito livre em que os bancos têm autonomia para aplicar o dinheiro captado no mercado e definir as taxas de juros.

No caso do crédito direcionado (empréstimos com regras definidas pelo governo, destinados, basicamente, aos setores habitacional, rural e de infraestrutura) a taxa de juros para as pessoas físicas ficou estável em 10,4% ao ano. A taxa cobrada das empresas caiu 0,4 ponto percentual para 12% ao ano. A inadimplência das famílias ficou em 2%, com alta de 0,2 ponto percentual e das empresas permaneceu em 1,3%.

O saldo de todas as operações de crédito concedido pelos bancos caiu 0,2% de agosto para setembro quando ficou R$ 3,109 trilhões. Em 12 meses encerrados, o saldo das operações de crédito caiu 1,7%.

O saldo correspondeu a 50,8% de tudo o que o país produz – Produto Interno Bruto (PIB), ante o percentual de 51,2% registrado em agosto deste ano.
