Feira de Adoção de Animais acontece em Jardim da Penha neste sábado  (28)

A feira acontece na praça do supermercado Carone,  de  9 às 13 horas.

Judith, Lolita e Negresco são alguns dos nomes de cães que estão à espera de um novo lar. As duas cadelas e filhotes de cães e gatos poderão ganhar novas famílias na Feira de Adoção de Animais, neste sábado (28). Para adotar, a pessoa tem que ser maior de 18 anos e apresentar Carteira de Identidade, CPF e comprovante de residência. Todos os animais são castrados, vacinados e vermifugados.

“Trabalhamos com a guarda responsável. Não basta adotar ,tem que ser responsável em cuidar, alimentar, fazer acompanhamento com veterinário e amar seu pet”, disse a médica veterinária Renata Bessa.

Recolhimento

O Centro de Vigilância em Saúde Ambiental (CVSA) funciona na rua São Sebastião, sem número, no bairro Resistência. O centro também funciona como posto de vacinação antirrábica durante o ano todo, de segunda a sexta-feira, das 8 às 17 horas. Também é possível visitar o canil e o gatil durante a semana para adotar um dos animais recolhidos.

Renata explica que há critérios para recolhimento de animais. “Todos os que chegam ao CVSA são animais que sofreram atropelamentos, foram abandonados ou têm suspeita de serem agressivos. A equipe do Controle Animal faz a ressocialização desses animais para que sejam introduzidos novamente na sociedade, por meio de adoção. Eles passam por uma avaliação do médico veterinário, tratamento, vermifugação e vacinação e, quando maior de 6 meses, já são castrados para adoção”.
