Estado continua sem casos de H1N1 por oito semanas seguidas

Durante oito semanas seguidas a Secretaria de Estado da Saúde (Sesa) não registra casos de Síndrome Respiratória Aguda Grave (SRAG) por Influenza A (H1N1) no Espírito Santo. Vale ressaltar que a SRAG pode ter diferentes agentes causadores, entre eles os vírus Influenza.

Na última semana, nenhum caso de Síndrome Respiratória Aguda Grave foi notificado no Estado. Com relação ao número de óbitos por H1N1, foram confirmados 48 entre os dias 03 de janeiro e 30 de julho deste ano, sendo que os últimos óbitos confirmados referem-se aos meses de abril e maio. Outros 06 óbitos estão em investigação para determinar o agente causador.

Orientações

Tanto a Influenza A (H1N1) quanto a Influenza Sazonal (gripe comum) são causadas por subtipos do vírus Influenza. Os sintomas são os mesmos: febre, tosse, dor de garganta, dor no corpo e mal-estar, caracterizando uma síndrome gripal. Quando o paciente apresentar estes sintomas e estiver com dificuldade para respirar, a orientação é procurar um serviço médico.
