Enem 2017 será em dois domingos consecutivos: 5 e 12 de novembro

O Ministério da Educação (MEC) anunciou mudanças no Exame Nacional do Ensino Médio (Enem) que, este ano, será realizado em dois domingos consecutivos – dias 5 e 12 de novembro – e não mais em um único fim de semana. As inscrições estarão abertas de 8 a 19 de maio.

A medida deverá beneficiar os sabatistas, integrantes de religiões que guardam o sábado. Até o ano passado, eles tinham que ficar isolados em uma sala das 13h (horário de início da prova) até o sol de pôr e faziam as provas de sábado à noite.

No primeiro domingo, os estudantes farão provas de ciências humanas, linguagens e redação. No segundo, as provas serão de matemática e ciências da natureza. Até o ano passado, o exame era realizado em um sábado e um domingo, no mesmo fim de semana, e a prova de redação era aplicada no segundo dia de exame. Com a mudança, no primeiro domingo os estudantes terão 5 horas e meia de prova e, no segundo, 4 horas e meia.

Os candidatos interessados em fazer o exame devem pagar uma taxa de inscrição. O MEC ainda discute o valor a ser cobrado. A taxa deve ser conhecida a partir da publicação do edital, prevista para 10 de abril. São isentos do pagamento da taxa os estudantes concluintes do ensino médio em escolas públicas e os participantes de baixa renda. Os estudantes isentos que não comparecerem e não justificarem a ausência perderão o benefício em 2018, caso queiram fazer a prova novamente.

As mudanças foram feitas com base em consulta pública realizada pelo ministério.
