O Museu Vale recebe a partir desta terça-feira (9), a exposição Território de Direitos. Uma parceria da Fundação Vale com o Museu e a Oficina de Imagens, a exposição é composta por 61 fotografias que expressam, por meio da sensibilidade e do olhar crítico de adolescentes e jovens, a realidade em que vivem.
Na abertura, marcada para as 15h30, será realizado um debate aberto ao público sobre a violação dos direitos de crianças e adolescentes com os especialistas Vanessa Pipinis, do Canal Futura; Joana Garcia, assistente social e professora da UFRJ, e Joel Brinco Nascimento, psicólogo da coordenadoria das Varas de Infância e Juventude do Poder Judiciário.
Além da visita à exposição, aberta ao público em geral, as escolas também podem se inscrever para que seus alunos participem de uma ação educativa sobre o tema.
O trabalho é resultado do primeiro exercício de formação de oficinas de fotografia e direitos humanos do programa “Proteger é Preciso”, desenvolvido pela Fundação Vale. Primeiro projeto itinerante desenvolvido pela Fundação, depois de passar pelo Memorial Minas Gerias Vale em maio e junho, a mostra estará no Museu Vale até 2 de outubro e em seguida vai circular por outros espaços culturais e unidades operacionais da empresa no país.
O objetivo do programa e da exposição é contribuir para a mobilização da sociedade e convocá-la para o engajamento contra a violação dos direitos de crianças e adolescentes.
