Número de inadimplentes chega a 58,7 milhões, diz pesquisa

O total de inadimplentes no país atingiu 58,5 milhões, em novembro último, o equivalente a 39% da população adulta brasileira. Esse número é 0,69% maior do que em novembro do ano passado, representando a entrada de um milhão de pessoas no período de um ano na lista de negativados. Apesar de elevada, a lista recebeu menos devedores do que entre 2014 e 2015, quando foram incorporadas dois milhões de pessoas.

Os dados são do indicador do Serviço de Proteção ao Crédito (SPC Brasil) e da Confederação Nacional de Dirigentes Lojistas (CNDL). Em nota, o presidente da confederação, Honório Pinheiro, atribuiu o resultado ao crédito mais rigoroso e aos efeitos do desaquecimento da economia. Para ele, não se trata de uma melhoria de cenário, mas de um comportamento de cautela do consumidor em assumir compromissos financeiros, e da dificuldade em obter financiamento.

“Se, por um lado, a recessão dificulta a capacidade de pagamento dos consumidores, em virtude do desemprego e da inflação alta, por outro, a maior restrição ao crédito, com juros ainda elevados e critérios de concessão mais seletivos, acaba impondo limites ao endividamento por parte dos brasileiros”, afirmou Pinheiro.

A maior parte dos devedores em atraso está na região Sudeste (24,2 milhões) ou 37,37% da população adulta nessa região. O segundo maior volume foi constatado no Nordeste (15,8 milhões) ou 38,82% da população adulta dessa região, seguido pelo Sul (8,1 milhões), equivalente a 36,41% da população adulta regional; Norte (5,4 milhões) ou 46,42% da população adulta regional e Centro- Oeste (5 milhões) ou 44,12% da população adulta regional.

De acordo com perfil de idade, prevalecem os devedores entre 30 e 39 anos. Na lista de inadimplentes, 49,59% ou 16,9 milhões estão nessa faixa etária. Já a participação dos jovens entre 25 e 29 anos é de 47,12%; entre 40 e 49 anos, de 46,32% e entre 65 a 84 anos, de 29,44%.

Volume de dívidas

O levantamento também apontou um recuo de 3,54% no volume de dívidas em comparação a igual mês do ano passado e por setor, com destaque para as contas de telefonia, internet e TV por assinatura. Especificamente, as dívidas de pessoas físicas cairam 14,90%.

Já as dívidas bancárias (atrasos no cartão de crédito, financiamentos, empréstimos e seguros) diminuíram 2,35% e as assumidas no comércio tiveram queda de 2,63%. Ocorreu alta apenas em relação às tarifas de serviços básicos, como água e luz (3,81% ).

Os bancos são os que concentram a maior parte das dívidas (48,24%), seguida pelo comércio (20,31%); comunicação (13,35%) e água e luz (7,96%).
