A chuva que cai desde a madrugada na Grande Vitória fez a Defesa Civil emitir alerta de risco de deslizamentos. Existe a previsão de chuvas fortes em diversos períodos até o fim do ano.  Foram mapeadas 126 áreas com risco de deslizamento na Serra (49), em Cariacica (38), Vila Velha (25), Viana (02) e Vitória (25).areaderisco-gvnews

DESLIZAMENTOS

Os deslizamentos, responsáveis por inúmeras vítimas fatais e grandes prejuízos materiais, são provocados pelo escorregamento de materiais sólidos, como solos, rochas, vegetação e/ou material de construção ao longo de terrenos inclinados, denominados de “encostas”, “pendentes” ou “escarpas”. Os deslizamentos em encostas e morros urbanos vêm ocorrendo com uma freqüência alarmante nestes últimos anos, devido ao crescimento desordenado das cidades, com a ocupação de novas áreas de risco, principalmente pela população mais carente.

A época de ocorrência dos deslizamentos coincide com o período das chuvas, intensas e prolongadas, visto que as águas escoadas e infiltradas vão desestabilizar as encostas.

Nos morros, os terrenos são sempre inclinados e, quando a água entra na terra, pode acontecer um deslizamento e destruir as casas que estão embaixo.

Os escorregamentos em áreas de encostas ocupadas costumam ocorrer em taludes de corte, aterros e taludes naturais agravados pela ocupação e ação humana.

1 – O que dizer a promessas para recebimento de lotes em morros?

a) Não se deixe enganar por promessas fáceis e ilusórias para obter um lote ou uma casa em morros ou áreas de risco. Os riscos de desastres são muito altos

b) Não desmate morro e encostas para assentamento de casas e outras construções.

2 – O que devo fazer ao verificar os riscos de deslizamento de um morro ou encosta?

Avise aos seus vizinhos sobre o perigo, no caso de casas construídas em áreas de risco de deslizamento. Avise, também, imediatamente ao Corpo de Bombeiros e à Defesa Civil. Convença as pessoas que moram nas áreas de risco a saírem de casa durante as chuvas; Você pode fazer junto com a sua comunidade um plano de evacuação.

3 – O que é um plano de evacuação?

Se você está morando numa área de risco, tenha com sua vizinhança um plano de evacuação com um sistema de alarme. É um plano que permite salvar a sua vida e de seus vizinhos.

4 – Quais são os sinais que indicam que pode ocorrer um deslizamento?

Se você observar o aparecimento de fendas, depressões no terreno, rachaduras nas paredes das casas, inclinação de tronco de árvores, de postes e o surgimento de minas d’água, avise imediatamente a Defesa Civil;

5 – O que posso fazer para evitar um deslizamento?

  1. a) Não destrua a vegetação das encostas;
  2. b) Conserte vazamentos o mais rápido possível e não deixar a água escorrendo pelo chão.
  3. c) Construa canaletas para o escoamento da água em sua comunidade;
  4. d) Junte o lixo em depósitos para o dia da coleta e não o deixe entulhado no morro.
  5. e) Não acumule sujeira ou lixo em lugares inclinados porque eles entopem a saída de água e desestabilizam os terrenos provocando deslizamentos.
  6. f) Não jogue lixo em vias públicas ou barreiras, pois o peso aumenta o perigo de deslizamento.
  7. g) Mantenha o caminho das águas de chuva sempre livre;
  8. h) Procure junto a Defesa Civil de sua cidade proteger as encostas dos morros para ajudar na drenagem da água e na proteção contra deslizamentos;
  9. i) Não faça cortes nos terrenos de encostas sem licença da Prefeitura, para evitar o agravamento da declividade.
  10. j) Solicite a Defesa Civil de sua cidade, em caso de morros e encostas, a colocação de lonas plásticas nas barreiras
  11. k) As barreiras devem ser protegidas com vegetação que tenham raízes compridas, gramas e capins que sustentam mais a terra.
  12. l) Em morros e encostas, não plante bananeiras e outras plantas de raízes curtas, porque as raízes dessas árvores não fixam o solo e aumentam os riscos de deslizamentos;
  13. m) Pode-se plantar para que a terra não seja carregada pela água da chuva. Perto das casas: pequenas fruteiras, plantas medicinais e de jardim, tais como: goiaba, pitanga, carambola, laranja, limão, pinha, acerola, urucum, jasmim, rosa, pata-de-vaca, hortelã, cidreira, boldo e capim santo;
  14. n) Nas encostas pode-se plantar: capim braquiária, capim gordura, capim-de-burro, capim sândalo, capim gengibre, grama germuda, capim chorão, grama pé-de-galinha, grama forquilha e grama batatais. A vegetação irá proteger as encostas.
  15. o) Em morros e encostas não plante mamão, fruta-pão, jambo, coco, banana, jaca e árvores grandes, pois acumulam água no solo e provocam quedas de barreiras.

6 – O que fazer quando ocorrer um deslizamento?

  1. a) Se você observar um princípio de deslizamento, avise imediatamente a Defesa Civil de sua cidade pelo 199 e o Corpo de Bombeiros pelo 193, bem como o máximo de pessoas que residem na área do deslizamento;
  2. b) Afaste-se e colabore para que curiosos mantenham-se afastados do local do deslizamento, poderá haver novos deslizamentos;

7 – Posso ajudar os bombeiros?

  1. a) Sempre que solicitado, caso contrário, vários equipamentos e pessoas especializadas em salvamento precisarão do local desimpedido;
  2. b) Não se arrisque sem necessidade, não entre no local do deslizamento, somente pessoas especializadas em salvamento podem entrar;
  3. c) Não permita que crianças e parentes entrem no local do deslizamento; Não conteste as orientações do Corpo de Bombeiros.
