A chuva que cai desde a madrugada na Grande Vitória fez a Defesa Civil emitir alerta de risco de deslizamentos. Existe a previsão de chuvas fortes em diversos períodos até o fim do ano.  Foram mapeadas 126 áreas com risco de deslizamento na Serra (49), em Cariacica (38), Vila Velha (25), Viana (02) e Vitória (25).areaderisco-gvnews

DESLIZAMENTOS

Os deslizamentos, responsáveis por inúmeras vítimas fatais e grandes prejuízos materiais, são provocados pelo escorregamento de materiais sólidos, como solos, rochas, vegetação e/ou material de construção ao longo de terrenos inclinados, denominados de “encostas”, “pendentes” ou “escarpas”. Os deslizamentos em encostas e morros urbanos vêm ocorrendo com uma freqüência alarmante nestes últimos anos, devido ao crescimento desordenado das cidades, com a ocupação de novas áreas de risco, principalmente pela população mais carente.

A época de ocorrência dos deslizamentos coincide com o período das chuvas, intensas e prolongadas, visto que as águas escoadas e infiltradas vão desestabilizar as encostas.

Nos morros, os terrenos são sempre inclinados e, quando a água entra na terra, pode acontecer um deslizamento e destruir as casas que estão embaixo.

Os escorregamentos em áreas de encostas ocupadas costumam ocorrer em taludes de corte, aterros e taludes naturais agravados pela ocupação e ação humana.

  12. l) Em morros e encostas, não plante bananeiras e outras plantas de raízes curtas, porque as raízes dessas árvores não fixam o solo e aumentam os riscos de deslizamentos;
  13. m) Pode-se plantar para que a terra não seja carregada pela água da chuva. Perto das casas: pequenas fruteiras, plantas medicinais e de jardim, tais como: goiaba, pitanga, carambola, laranja, limão, pinha, acerola, urucum, jasmim, rosa, pata-de-vaca, hortelã, cidreira, boldo e capim santo;

  15. o) Em morros e encostas não plante mamão, fruta-pão, jambo, coco, banana, jaca e árvores grandes, pois acumulam água no solo e provocam quedas de barreiras.
