Feira de Orgânicos da Praia da Costa tem novo local

A feira de produtos orgânicos da Praia da Costa vai passar a funcionar na Rua Maria da Penha Queiroz, no mesmo bairro. O local é mais seguro e contempla moradores, feirantes e a Prefeitura de Vila Velha, que agendou em acordo com a comunidade a mudança para o dia 25 de fevereiro.

O novo local fica próximo à entrada da Vila Militar do 38° Batalhão de Infantaria. A proposta de mudança do local da feira partiu da Prefeitura de Vila Velha em função do laudo técnico que condena a utilização daquela estrutura embaixo da Terceira Ponte, sob o risco de desabamento. Há, inclusive, uma notificação do Ministério Público orientando a mudança.

O funcionamento em novo local no próximo dia 25 ficou acertado em uma reunião entre o vice-prefeito de Vila Velha, Jorge Carreta, a secretária de Serviços Urbanos, Marizete de Oliveira e representantes dos feirantes.

A secretária municipal de Serviços Urbanos, Marizete de Oliveira buscou entendimento para uma saída comum que contemplasse os feirantes, a Associação de Moradores da Praia da Costa e, ao mesmo tempo, tivesse viabilidade técnica. “O caminho do diálogo é a forma mais democrática que temos para a construção de uma solução coletiva que agrade a todos os envolvidos”, defendeu.

Depois da apresentação da proposta, feirantes e técnicos da prefeitura foram conhecer o novo endereço da feira de orgânicos. Os comerciantes aprovaram o local, mas pediram a interdição total do trânsito na rua nos períodos de realização da feira e também a melhoria da infraestrutura.

O novo endereço da feira também foi aprovado pelo presidente da Associação dos Moradores da Praia da Costa, Gilson Pacheco, que participou da reunião.

A Prefeitura de Vila Velha vai realizar, nos dias 11 e 18 de fevereiro, uma campanha para a divulgação do novo endereço da feira, que tem 23 barracas e comercializa uma média anual de 15 toneladas de orgânicos para um público estimado em mais de 5 mil pessoas. A feira funciona há mais de 15 anos.
