O Exame Nacional do Ensino Médio (Enem) fica mais caro este ano. Para se inscrever, o candidato terá que pagar R$ 82. A nova taxa está no edital do exame, publicado nesta segunda (10) no Diário Oficial da União. No ano passado, a taxa era de R$ 68.
As inscrições começam às 10h do dia 8 de maio e terminam às 23h59 do dia 19 de maio, pela internet, no site do Enem . O pagamento deve ser feito até o dia 24 de maio.
Segundo o Instituto Nacional de Estudos e Pesquisas Educacionais Anísio Teixeira (Inep), a correção não só levou em conta a variação de preços pelo Índice Nacional de Preços ao Consumidor Amplo (IPCA), como incorporou variações de anos anteriores que deixaram de ser aplicadas e parte da diferença entre o custo do exame e a taxa de inscrição.
Atualmente, o Inep cobre cerca de 70% do custo do exame. No ano passado, por exemplo, o custo, de R$ 91,49 por participante, foi R$ 23,49 acima do valor pago. A autarquia diz que mesmo com a alta, o Enem está abaixo da média dos vestibulares do país, que é R$ 140.
Pelas regras do edital estão isentos da taxa os estudantes de escolas públicas que concluirão o ensino médio em 2017, os participantes de baixa renda que integram o CadÚnico e os que se enquadram na lei 12.799/2013 que, entre outros critérios, isenta de pagamento aqueles com renda igual ou inferior a um salário mínimo e meio, ou seja, R$ 1.405,50.
O Inep informa que vai conferir todos os pedidos de isenção. Caso o candidato não se enquadre, poderá gerar o boleto e pagar a taxa para participar do Enem. Se as informações prestadas forem falsas e for constatada concessão indevida de isenção, o participante será eliminado do exame e terá que ressarcir a taxa.
A partir deste ano, o sistema de inscrição permitirá que o participante informe o Número de Identificação Social, do CadÚnico. Para que a isenção seja validada, é preciso que os dados pessoais sejam iguais aos cadastrados na base da Receita Federal.
Os participantes isentos que não comparecerem nos dois dias de prova e quiserem fazer o Enem 2018 sem pagar a taxa terão que justificar a ausência por meio de atestado médico, documento judicial ou boletim de ocorrência. Caso contrário, perderão a isenção.

O Enem 2017 será realizado em dois domingos consecutivos – dias 5 e 12 de novembro – e não mais em um único fim de semana. No primeiro domingo, os estudantes farão provas de ciências humanas, linguagens e redação. No segundo, as provas serão de matemática e ciências da natureza.
Os resultados das provas poderão ser usados em processos seletivos para vagas no ensino superior público, pelo Sistema de Seleção Unificada (Sisu), para bolsas de estudo em instituições privadas, pelo Programa Universidade para Todos (ProUni) e para obter financiamento pelo Fundo de Financiamento Estudantil (Fies).
