Até o dia 23 de agosto estão abertas as inscrições para o concurso público que vai contratar mil agentes penitenciários para atuarem no sistema prisional do Ceará. Do total de vagas, 85% são destinadas a candidatos do sexo masculino e também há a reserva de 5% das vagas para pessoas com deficiência, desde que seja compatível com as atividades solicitadas para o cargo.
De acordo com o Sindicato Estadual dos Agentes e Servidores do Sistema Penitenciário (Sindasp), o Ceará conta com 2.200 agentes penitenciários. Dados de junho da Sejus apontam a existência de 13,3 mil pessoas encarceradas para 8,5 mil vagas – um excedente de 55%.
Segundo a Secretaria da Justiça e Cidadania do Ceará (Sejus), ainda não há data definida para a convocação dos aprovados, mas, pelo edital, mais da metade do efetivo (556 agentes) será lotado na região metropolitana de Fortaleza. “Vamos fortalecer o sistema penitenciário com a criação desses cargos, dar melhores condições de trabalho ao agente que hoje atua nos presídios e amenizar, assim, os problemas da superlotação”, afirmou a titular da pasta, Socorro França.
Em maio de 2016, em meio a uma greve dos trabalhadores do setor, uma série de rebeliões em unidades do Complexo Penitenciário de Itaitinga II, na região metropolitana da capital, provocou 18 mortes e a destruição de várias celas. Na ocasião, o governador do estado, Camilo Santana, atribuiu as rebeliões à suspensão das visitas, determinada pelo movimento grevista.
No fim da tarde deste domingo (30), internos da Casa de Privação Provisória de Liberdade Agente Elias Alves da Silva, conhecida como CPPL IV, tentaram quebrar as celas para ficarem soltos nos corredores das vivências. Segundo a Sejus, a ação foi contida, mas o Grupo de Ações Penitenciárias, formado por agentes, e o Batalhão de Choque da Polícia Militar permanecem na unidade.
Seleção
A inscrição para o concurso custa R$ 100 e pode ser feita pela internet pelo site do Instituto AOCP, que é a entidade organizadora do certame. A primeira fase será uma prova objetiva, que será aplicada no dia 1º de outubro. Já a segunda etapa terá cinco fases, incluindo avaliação de capacidade física e psicológica e curso de formação. As duas fases vão acontecer em Fortaleza.
