O ministro dos Transportes informou que, em até 60 dias, a proposta da Eco 101 e também das alternativas da própria ANTT para a repactuação do contrato da rodovia terão uma resposta. A concessionária não quer realizar a duplicação da BR-101 como previsto em contrato e apresentou uma série de alternativas. De acordo com o ministro, o cancelamento da duplicação não está em cogitação, já que ela é um compromisso do governo federal.
O ministro ressaltou também que o Governo Federal está trabalhando para retomar, ainda este ano, as obras do Contorno de Vitória e da BR 262, e que a inauguração da ampliação do Aeroporto de Vitória está mantida para dezembro.
As informações foram repassadas durante visita nesta segunda (31) ao Espírito Santo. O Ministro dos Transportes, Maurício Quintella, reuniu-se com o governador Paulo Hartung e o diretor-geral da Agência Nacional de Transportes Terrestres (ANTT), Jorge Bastos no Palácio Anchieta.
“O motivo destas visitas é o debate sobre a duplicação da BR 101. Fizemos um encontro envolvendo representantes da sociedade capixaba com a presença de empresários, prefeitos, lideranças sociais e deputados das bancadas estadual e federal. Recebemos do ministro e do presidente da ANTT um conjunto de providências que serão tomadas. Precisamos ter respeito nos contratos assinados entre as partes. Estabelecemos um ponto de partida ou recomeço para que possamos avançar e garantir a segurança dos usuários da BR 101”, destacou o governador Paulo Hartung.
Importância da rodovia
O Espírito Santo tem uma posição estratégica no país e a BR 101 tem papel importante não só para a logística do Estado, mas para o Brasil. A rodovia federal é um integrador modal, com mais de 475 quilômetros de extensão, interligando portos, aeroportos e ferrovias das regiões Sudeste e Nordeste. Pela rodovia trafegam pessoas do país inteiro e milhares de mercadorias são transportadas diariamente.
Por tratar-se de uma obra federal importante para o desenvolvimento do Estado, o governo estadual faz o acompanhamento institucional desse e de outros investimentos em infraestrutura.
“A duplicação da BR 101 dará ao Espírito Santo e ao Brasil uma estrutura logística de melhor qualidade e mais competitiva. Com essa obra, teremos redução nos custos e no tempo de viagem, podendo atrair e ampliar negócios que gerem oportunidades de emprego e renda para os capixabas”, afirmou o secretário de Estado de Desenvolvimento, José Eduardo Azevedo.
Concessão da BR
O contrato de concessão de duplicação da BR 101 no Espírito Santo é federal. Ele foi assinado entre a ANTT e a ECO 101 em 2013, por um prazo de 25 anos.
O objeto é a concessão para a exploração da infraestrutura e da prestação do serviço público de recuperação, operação, manutenção, monitoração, conservação, implantação de melhorias e ampliação de capacidade do sistema rodoviário dentro do trecho que se inicia em Mucuri (Bahia) até a divisa entre Espírito Santo e Rio de Janeiro.
Devem ser implantados 32 trevos em desnível e 24 rotatórias em nível, 36 quilômetros de vias marginais, 19 passarelas, além de todo serviço para monitoramento, atendimento e socorro nas rodovias, além de duplicar os 475,9 km e realizar atendimento 24 horas.
